Facilitator Training

Facilitator Training

The Facilitator training sessions are similar to the actual Living Well workshop. We encourage trainees to complete exercises from the participant workbook; group discussions enrich the virtual or actual classroom experience. The final training segment includes a section on facilitating groups to encourage change.

Each trainee receives a Facilitator Manual that includes the participant workbook plus facilitation tips and guidelines. Accessible formats are available, including large print, Braille, text-only for screen readers, and audio versions on tape or CD. Living Well Program facilitator training is available in web-based and on-site formats.

Web-based Training:

With a computer and Internet connection, Living Well facilitator training is just a few mouse clicks away! Trainers and trainees interact during four one-hour group sessions. Trainees also watch assigned video segments at their convenience before each group training session. Distance facilitator training costs $99 per person.

On-Site Training:

We also provide good old-fashioned, in-person training. A trainer travels to your location and teaches up to 20 trainees over the course of two 7-hour days.

On-site training costs $2,500, plus the cost of materials and travel.
